- Yep, I have a very early VC-1541 (cream case). On its system board
- reads still 1540, the kernel-ROM looks like it's installed afterwards
- (it's an EPROM). So the only difference between 1540-41 is that
- ROM (on later 1541s there's of course other modifications).
